Two Years Old!

SFA Gallery is over two years old now! The Gallery was founded in October, 2011. Since then we have added artists, built a moss-garden pathway out front, added classes, figure sessions, and private lessons, and hosted events.

“Singing Head” was a great success in november–a collaborative community-based project featuring poetry by Fred Lowe and illustrations by Val Sivilli. The opening night celebration was  well attended and featured live celtic harp music! Many prints of the illustrated poems were sold–the proceeds going towards the publication of a limited edition artists book.

You can look forward to more openings and events in the near future…be sure to consult the schedule frequently!
