“A Collector’s Passion” opened on January 7 and will run through February 28. This exhibit includes paintings by Virginia-based artist Ed King, bronze wildlife sculptures by national and international artists, Australian aboriginal paintings, and wildlife paintings by nationally recognized artists.

Join us for the artist’s reception on Saturday, March 2 from 5-7PM. Sean is a self-taught Lambertville, NJ-based painter of exquisitely nuanced natural settings, chiefly dense woodlands and streams. The paintings
range from small plain-air studies to medium-sized studio works and even one mural-sized canvas. Sean worked for many years in scenic painting for the New York film industry. This is his first exhibit at SFA.
“Emily Thompson and George Thompson: Interior/Exterior”, April 6-28.
Join us for the artist’s reception on Saturday, April 6 from 5-7PM. Emily and George Thompson are an artist couple from Doylestown, PA. They met when they were both art directors for the advertising department at Bloomingdale’s. Both have had successful careers as editorial illustrators and graphic designers. Emily has exhibited her plein-air and abstract works throughout the Northeast. George now works primarily as a fine artist and teacher.
