Dick De Groot show opens on Bastille Day!

I met Kerstin (Kris) Engman close to 30 years ago, and all during that time I have been amazed by her work. Initially trained as a sculptor, she has since branched out into several media: drawing, oil painting, encaustic, graphics, calligraphy, etc. in both representational and abstract modes. Emily Steinberg’s “Boxing with Hitler” Opens!

SFA Gallery is hosting an exhibition in May featuring new oil paintings by Philadelphia artist Emily Steinberg. “Boxing with Hitler” runs from May 1-31. There will be an opening reception for the artist on Saturday, May 10thth from 4-7pm, with light refreshments served. The exhibit is free and open to the public. William Hudders: NEW WORK

“William Hudders: NEW WORK” opens April 1st and runs through the end of the month. These luminous, evocative paintings, drawings and watercolors are not to be missed! William Hudders is a painter and art educator from Easton, PA., who studied at the University of Pennsylvania and the Rhode Island School of Design. He has exhibited widely, and received numerous awards, grants and residencies, including a prestigious Pollack-Krasner Foundation Grant in 2007, and a Franz and Virginia Bader Fund Award in 2012.   Join us for a reception for the artist on Saturday, April 12th from 4-7.
